Autonomous farming isn’t just about machines—it’s about the humans behind them. John Deere came to us with a bold vision: create tools that make autonomy usable and valuable for everyone involved in the growing process, not just the equipment.

We mapped key workflows and surfaced the real-world complexities that teams face during the growing season. From long-range planning to moment-by-moment decisions in the field, we explored how data, alerts, and oversight could be better orchestrated across roles.

The result was a multi-surface experience that included daily planning dashboards, mobile oversight tools, and real-time exception alerts—designed to keep teams in sync and in control.

Instead of designing for machines alone, we helped John Deere design for the dynamic, messy reality of team-based agriculture.
